Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 2 years of experience, or 0 years with a Master’s degree.
Principal Engineer Electrical requires 5 years with a Bachelor’s, or 2 years with a Master, or 0 with a PhD.
US Citizenship with an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Ability to obtain SAP approval within a reasonable time frame.
Familiarity with industry/military standards (IEC, NEC, NFPA, ISO, etc).
Experience with EMI/EMC design and wiring harness documentation.

Responsibilities

Attend internal program, customer and supplier technical exchange meetings.
Support program milestone reviews and provide progress updates.
Coordinate electrical design with other integration teams.
Develop PDPs/ADPs and manage reviews through the release process.
Review engineering deliverables such as schematics, data sheets and diagrams.
Perform electrical analysis and/or develop LRU electrical designs.
Conduct research, trade studies, and systems integration in electrical/electro-mechanical domains.
