Job summary
Stillpoint AEC seeks an Electrical Engineer with current building electrical systems design experience in an MEP/AEC setting. You will lead electrical design tasks, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and contribute to technically challenging building projects.
Responsibilities include designing power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and standby power, as well as performing essential calculations and producing construction documents. Hybrid/onsite opportunities offered in the SF area.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required or preferred.
- Current electrical building systems design experience in MEP/AEC required.
- Experience with building electrical systems including power, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm.
Responsibilities
- Design building electrical systems: power distribution, lighting, emergency/standby power, fire alarm, grounding, low-voltage systems.
- Perform load, voltage drop, short-circuit, and coordination studies; equipment sizing and analysis.
- Develop single-line diagrams, panel schedules, lighting layouts, controls, and specs.
- Prepare calculations, reports, plans, specs, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and other disciplines; support all project phases.
