Markon, Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineering Drafter to support the Naval Nuclear Laboratory’s PPTT project at the Bettis site. Onsite work is required with up to 15% remote work.

DOE L clearance or equivalent secret is required, with some travel to vendors and shipyards. The role involves drafting electrical schematics and 2D/3D drawings, material lists, and collaborating with engineers to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.

Qualifications

• DOE L clearance required.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in Design and Drafting Technology or related electrical design field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and update electrical schematics and drawings using CAD.
• Create and revise detailed and assembly drawings from layouts.
• Prepare material lists and drafting documentation.
• Support electrical engineering and design activities for PPTT project.
• Research projects and consult with developers for SME knowledge.
• Apply current drafting and design technologies to engineering tasks.
