Job summary

RTX is seeking an onsite Electrical Engineer in Goleta, CA to join a team designing airborne electronic products with emphasis on mixed-signal circuits, FPGA, and subsystems. You will work with senior engineers on hardware architecture, analysis, and lab validation, supporting EW/RWR programs and RF interfaces.

The role requires a STEM degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, familiarity with MATLAB/SPICE/Mentor Graphics, and the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires STEM degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Circuit Design, Digital Signal Processing, Power Systems, or Embedded Systems.
• Experience using MATLAB, SPICE, or Mentor Graphics software.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop airborne electronic products meeting SWaP, reliability, and cost requirements.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on digital/analog hardware architecture, schematic capture, and lab validation.
• Support radar warning receivers and EW products with RF circuitry and interfaces.
