Job summary

RTX Corporation in Tewksbury, MA is seeking a Digital Electrical Engineer I for onsite work to design and verify CCAs and FPGA-based solutions. You will collaborate with systems, mechanical, and software teams across the full lifecycle, from architecture through production release, in a DoD environment.

A DoD Secret clearance is required or ability to obtain interim clearance; a BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience with digital electronics and HDL coding for configurable logic devices.
• Experience or coursework with circuit design, digital design, or related topics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and verify digital architecture, circuit card designs, and FPGA implementations targeting configurable logic devices.
• Model digital algorithms, partition design functions, and write high-reliability code for embedded processing systems.
• Perform component selection, schematic capture, circuit simulation, and collaborate on physical layout and routing.
• Integrate and validate hardware designs in a laboratory environment using advanced test instrumentation against rigorous system requirements.
• Maintain design documentation and configuration management artifacts throughout the product lifecycle.
