Job summary

RTX in Goleta, CA is seeking an RF/Systems Engineering student or early-career professional to help define system architecture and verify requirements for advanced radar and sensor systems. You will work with experienced engineers across the full product lifecycle, using DOORS for requirements and performing modeling and simulations with MATLAB, Python, and C++.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware/software integration, verification activities, and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM required by start date.
Experience with RF fundamentals and RF test equipment.
Proficiency in MATLAB for data analysis; programming in C++ or Python is preferred.

Responsibilities

Define system architecture and verify system requirements across the full product lifecycle.
Support development, analysis, documentation, and verification of system requirements using DOORS.
Generate CONOPS and system architectures for radar and sensor systems.
Assist with radar mode development and performance assessments.
Model, simulate, and analyze data using MATLAB, Python, and C++.
Participate in hardware/software integration, testing, and lab activities.
Prepare technical reports and briefings for stakeholders.
