Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Engineer II – Production Hardware in Tucson, AZ, onsite. You will contribute to the design, test, and integration of RF, analog, digital, and mixed-signal hardware while supporting production and supplier activities.

Responsibilities include hands-on troubleshooting, collaboration across departments, and occasional travel with a 3rd shift schedule. A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 2+ years of relevant experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years’ prior relevant experience.
• Experience with RF, analog, digital, and/or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and/or digital signal processing.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment including waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and/or network analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Enhance electrical engineering skills with testing and debugging of circuit cards and electro-mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve production issues.
• Travel less than 10% annually; operate in the 3rd shift (11pm-8AM).
