Job summary
Rosendin Electric, Bloomington, IL, is seeking an Engineer II to provide technical electrical engineering support for design, analysis, and commissioning on high‑profile projects. You will mentor junior engineers, develop power distribution and lighting concepts, and ensure code compliance and constructibility.
Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 2+ years of experience, and familiarity with ETAP, SKM, and AutoCAD tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience required.
- Engineer‑In‑Training is acceptable; PE registration encouraged.
- LEED AP is desirable for this role.
Responsibilities
- Oversee junior engineers, designers, and staff on projects of limited scope.
- Review submittals and coordinate with Engineer of Record.
- Prepare electrical system designs, single‑line diagrams, and feeder sizing.
- Perform short circuit, arc flash, and protective device coordination analyses.
- Visit jobsites for data collection and field verification.
