Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking an Electrical Engineer II/III to join our team across multiple U.S. locations, with remote options considered. You will design electrical and control systems, lead projects, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from concept through commissioning.

The role offers growth toward greater technical leadership, exposure to energy, oil & gas, and renewables projects, and travel up to 10%. Salaries are competitive and commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a similar engineering discipline.
• Engineer II: Typically, 1–3+ years of related engineering experience.
• Engineer III: Typically, 3+ years of related engineering experience.
• EIT license is preferred.
• PE license a plus particularly for Engineer III-level candidates.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAD design and drafting to assist engineers in the design of electrical and control systems.
• Lead moderate to large-sized projects and make decisions on technical or complex issues.
• Develop design documents and drawings, including one- and three-line diagrams and schematics.
• Apply engineering software for ground grid design, equipment sizing, relay coordination, and electrical studies.
• Coordinate with project teams, customers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Support field wiring and testing of electrical and control circuits with design and commissioning teams.
