Lake Superior Consulting is seeking an Electrical Engineer II/III to join our team in a diverse range of energy and industrial projects. Location options include multiple U.S. cities, with remote consideration available.

The role involves design through construction and commissioning, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and potential travel up to 10% for field support. Salary range is $78,000–$115,000 per year, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Engineer II typically 1–3+ years of related experience.
• Engineer III typically 3+ years of related experience.
• EIT license preferred; PE license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAD design and drafting to assist engineers in the design of electrical and control systems.
• Lead moderate to large projects and make technical decisions as needed.
• Create design documents and drawings, including one- and three-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Develop specifications for procurement, installation, and testing of electrical equipment.
• Apply software for ground grid design, equipment sizing, relay coordination, and electrical studies.
• Participate in field wiring and testing with design and commissioning teams.
• Provide design review support to junior engineers and designers.
• Interact with clients, vendors, and contractors; manage scope changes and risks.
