- Support electrical design activities for cardiac ablation platforms, including generators, energy delivery systems, sensing and monitoring circuits, and safety-critical subsystems
- Contribute to electrical architectures, requirements, and design approaches for RF and pulsed field ablation technologies
- Support trade-off decisions balancing performance, safety, cost, manufacturability, serviceability, and regulatory constraints
- Contribute to detailed electrical design, including high-voltage circuits, power electronics, sensing and monitoring circuits, isolation schemes, grounding strategies, and EMC-robust designs
- Support and execute verification and validation activities across the product lifecycle
- Provide technical input into design reviews, hazard analyses, and electrical-subsystem failure investigations
- Support electrical risk management involving electrical hazards, energy delivery, insulation, leakage currents, fault detection, and patient return electrode monitoring
- Apply Design for Reliability and Manufacturability principles to identify, reduce, and monitor technical risk
- Act as a design technical leader across released product engineering, manufacturing, supplier engineering, service, and quality teams
- Support sustaining engineering, root-cause analysis, field issues, design changes, component obsolescence, and manufacturing process improvements
- Interface with external suppliers and partners on supply continuity, technical alignment, and assigned tasks or project activities
- Share technical knowledge and collaborate with engineers on electrical design, documentation, and problem solving
- Contribute to engineering standards, design guidelines, and continuous improvement within EPT
- Represent electrical engineering in program reviews, technical discussions, and issue-resolution forums
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with a minimum of 0 years relevant experience
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
- Experience in analog/digital mixed-signal design, safety-critical circuit design, and EMC/ESD mitigation
- Ability to contribute to technical decisions within complex, multidisciplinary systems
- Willingness to take ownership of assigned work and support project execution
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
