Job description
This is a multi-functional role dealing with diverse engineering needs, including the ability to gather requirements, generate specification documents, and interface with alliance partners, contract manufacturers and internal personnel to design, deploy and sustain custom solutions worldwide. This is a high visibility role within client's requiring daily interaction with client's customers, client's Alliance Partners, client's Sales Teams, client's Engineering Teams, and Executive Management. The role will include:
Interacting with a wide variety of client's customers, client's staff, external alliance partners, and suppliers in support of designing, implementing, and sustaining of custom solutions
Generating requirements documents, statements of work and Bills of Materials
Defining and implementing project plans, managing milestones, and holding reviews to assure systems meet requirements and readiness for deployment
Specifying, designing, prototyping, testing, and deploying turnkey automated solutions
Directing support personnel, managing project technical deliverables, guiding technical decisions, and driving field found issues to resolution
Traveling as needed (possibly up to 25%) domestically and abroad in support of project objectives
Experience and Skill Requirements:
B. S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics or Electronics Engineering Technology
Minimum of 7 years relevant industry experience in a Hardware Systems Design Role or a Test Engineering Design Role
US Citizen ONLY, ability to work on ITAR projects and qualify for DoD Clearances
Strong understanding of electrical engineering, electronics & computer architectures
Understanding of high-level programming languages (LabVIEW, TestStand, C/C++/C#)
