- Support a critical production program within the Airborne RF Electronics Design Department
- Work as part of an integrated team to resolve issues encountered during production, testing, and integration
- Collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Program functions to meet key milestones
- Support production hardware and/or software, test set development, or both based on program needs
- Assess production test design coverage across special test equipment (STE) to assembly, test, and verification processes
- Troubleshoot hardware and test sets to component level, including analog, digital, radio, and microwave frequency circuitry, interfaces, and software
- Analyze test data and verify compliance with specifications
- Drive resolution of production test set issues
- Evaluate hardware performance, categorize failures, and disposition units systematically and on schedule
- Work in a compact range or laboratory environment
- Interpret, generate, update, release, and apply engineering documentation including test set drawings, assembly drawings, schematics, wire lists, and parts lists
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities
- Deliver clear status updates to program leadership
- Maintain operability of special test equipment
- Support production and suppliers through periodic travel of up to 25%
- Gain experience with RF and digital electronics applicable to airborne RF electronics
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting and implementing solutions
- Experience using measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters
- Strong communication skills including report writing and presentations
- Ability to conduct failure investigations and provide recommendations to address systemic issues and prevent recurrence
- Experience with Manufacturing Engineering
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within teams
- Knowledge of Matlab, C#, C++, and Python
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance
- Active and existing DoD Top Secret security clearance required after day 1
