Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 5+ years of engineering design and project management experience.
• Experience designing MEP building systems and fire prevention systems for commercial facilities.
• Strong electrical engineering design, documentation, and coordination skills.
• Understanding of electrical codes, standards, and construction processes.
• Ability to manage competing project priorities and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead Electrical Design: Provide technical leadership on complex commercial engineering projects, overseeing electrical system design, calculations, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Manage Projects: Coordinate project schedules, budgets, resources, and engineering deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
• Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work closely with mechanical, structural, civil, architectural, and other engineering teams to integrate building systems.
• Oversee Construction Support: Review submittals, conduct site visits, respond to technical questions, and resolve design challenges during construction.
• Ensure Quality & Compliance: Lead QA/QC reviews to ensure electrical designs meet applicable codes, industry standards, and client expectations.
• Mentor Engineers: Provide technical guidance, training, and support to junior engineers and designers.
• Build Client Relationships: Participate in client meetings, technical presentations, and project coordination activities.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications
