Job summary

Epstein Architecture, Engineering and Construction is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our growing MEP team in Raleigh.” The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of consulting experience and will lead design efforts, mentor staff, and deliver high-quality electrical engineering solutions for commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.

We value expertise in NEC and building codes, strong teamwork, and client collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with Electrical emphasis.
• 5–8 years of project experience in A/E/C or consulting engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
• Strong coordination across disciplines and client-facing interaction.

Responsibilities

• Understand project objectives, scope, and budget implications.
• Lead design and detailing of electrical systems.
• Manage development of construction/ equipment installation documents and deliverables.
• Perform calculations and delegate design tasks to team members as needed.
• Coordinate with all design disciplines and review shop drawings for compliance.
• Assist in preparing project estimates and specifications.
• Conduct periodic design reviews to ensure codes and Epstein standards.
