Job summary

Jacobs seeks an Electrical Engineer to engage with clients, evaluate energy needs, and develop concept-level plans through detailed design for full execution of solutions.

Responsibilities include feasibility studies, construction documents, and oversight for energy projects, with an emphasis on communication and problem-solving and the ability to work independently under supervision as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• At least 4 years of design/consulting experience
• Demonstrated ability for developing design calculations, construction drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and technical writing skills
• Ability to work independently with minor supervision once given guidance by a lead engineer

• Provide feasibility studies, construction documents, and construction oversight for energy projects
• Possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, a solid grasp of engineering fundamentals
