Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Northwest team in Bellevue, WA. You will design and specify medium and low voltage power distribution, motor control, standby and emergency generation, lighting, fire detection, grounding and security systems for municipal facilities, with calculations and reports to support design decisions.

You'll collaborate with remote domestic and international staff, lead project tasks, and contribute to growth across domestic and global

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university/college.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience designing facilities, utility systems and interpreting electrical systems.
• Ability to work in a team environment and give/receive feedback.
• Experience managing remote domestic and international staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify medium and low voltage power distribution, motor control, standby and emergency generation systems.
• Develop high-quality power distribution and lighting calculations, technical notes and reports.
• Collaborate with remote domestic and international staff to support projects.
• Ensure designs comply with codes of practice and support growth domestically and globally.
