Job summary
Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer focused on Energy and Power for the Southeast USA.
You will engage with clients, evaluate energy needs, develop concept-level plans, and drive them through detailed design to full execution, delivering end-to-end lifecycle services from exploration to repowering. The role emphasizes strong engineering fundamentals, problem-solving, and the ability to work with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team to advance sustainable energy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 4+ years of design/consulting experience.
- Ability to develop design calculations, construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills.
- PE registration or ability to obtain within 1 year.
- Experience with 3D modeling and power systems software preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform feasibility studies, construction documents, and construction oversight for energy projects.
- Develop concept-level plans and take designs through detailed execution.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and communicate effectively with clients.
