Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer – Energy and Power in the United States. You will engage with clients, evaluate energy needs, and develop plans from concept to full execution, delivering an end-to-end energy project lifecycle.

You’ll contribute feasibility studies, construction documents, and construction oversight while communicating clearly and solving problems with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 4 years of design/consulting experience.
• Experience developing design calculations, construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after guidance by lead engineer.
• Professional Registration (PE) preferred; ability to obtain PE within 1 year.
