Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support energy and power projects. You will evaluate energy needs, develop concept-level plans, and advance designs through to full execution across a broad energy portfolio.

Responsibilities include feasibility studies, construction documents, and construction oversight. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, with a PE being preferred or obtainable within a year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 4 years of design/consulting experience.
• HV or MV substation experience.
• Strong ability to develop design calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with guidance from lead engineer.

Responsabilités

• Provide feasibility studies, construction documents and oversight for energy projects.
• Develop concepts and move to detailed design and full execution.
• Communicate clearly and solve problems as part of a multidisciplinary team.
