Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and oversee energy projects from feasibility to full execution in a hybrid Dallas-area environment.

You will develop design calculations, construction drawings, and specifications while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team and communicating effectively. A PE is preferred, with strong problem-solving and technical writing skills to deliver reliable energy solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• At least 4 years of design/consulting experience.
• Demonstrated ability for developing design calculations, construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Ability to work independently with minor supervision once given guidance by lead engineer.
• Professional Registration as well as experience with additional tools is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide feasibility studies, construction documents and construction oversight for energy projects.
• Develop concept-level plans and end-to-end design deliverables from feasibility through full execution.
• Communicate clearly and solve problems with a multidisciplinary team.
• Possess a strong grasp of engineering fundamentals and explore innovative solutions.
