Job summary

Nakupuna Companies is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer to join the DoWEA Team. The role conducts on-site facility condition assessments of power distribution, lighting, generators, UPS, and fire alarm interfaces across DoWEA sites.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years' experience with institutional electrical systems, and a PE license is preferred. Travel to multiple campuses in the Pacific region is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 5+ years of experience inspecting and evaluating institutional electrical systems.
• PE license or EIT/FE credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Facility Condition Assessments (FCAs) on electrical systems.
• Enter data into the Enterprise Sustainment Management System (E-SMS) within 90 days of each site visit.
• Support the FCAR development with verified electrical inventory and condition data.
• Identify and record equipment IDs and nameplate data for major electrical equipment.
• Document life-cycle and renewal needs for concealed components and deficiencies.
• Ensure safety and coordination on-site with base access and high-voltage environments.
