Navarro Research and Engineering seeks an Electrical Engineer to support construction projects at the Knolls Site in West Milton, NY. An active DOE L clearance or DOD equivalent is required for consideration.

The successful candidate will work within a project team, develop scope with sponsors, and produce specifications, cost estimates, and drawings for electrical systems in buildings and utility projects. U.S. citizenship is required due to government contracting.

Qualificações

• EIT certificate or P.E. license; engineering consulting experience.
• Active DOE L clearance or DOD equivalent required.
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering with experience in contract docs, calculations, and cost estimates.
• Familiarity with building codes and standards; construction administration experience.

Responsabilidades

• Work within a project team to support construction projects at the Knolls Site.
• Define project scope with sponsors.
• Develop specifications, cost estimates, drawing reviews, and provide engineering support during construction for buildings and utilities.
• Oversee architectural engineering firms in developing concept designs, construction documents, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with facility staff and contractors.
