Job summary

Scientific Applications & Research Associates, Inc. (SARA) seeks an Electrical Engineer in Colorado Springs to support diagnostics and lab testing for defense-related programs. You will operate test equipment, analyze measurements, and document results while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires up to 25% travel and potential DoD clearance. You will engage in instrumented testing, data analysis, and report writing, contributing to projects transitioning to DoD/DoE

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, physics, or relevant field.
• 0–2 years of Electrical Engineering experience.
• Hands-on testing with oscilloscope, logic analyzer, signal generator.
• Willing to travel up to 25% for testing.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary diagnostic support in the lab with on-site testing.
• Set up, execute, analyze, and document lab tests with teams.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain test equipment and data acquisition systems.
• Analyze data to identify issues and root causes; prepare technical reports.
• Support field and off-site testing and potential travel.
