The role emphasizes modeling, simulations, test design, and delivering concise reports to support DoD, DoE programs. The candidate will guide engineering analyses, develop specifications, and cooperate with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 8 years of directly applicable power systems Electrical Engineering experience
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or additional experience in lieu)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain TS DoD security clearance

Responsibilities

• Perform self-guided engineering calculations and apply physics first principles
• Model, simulate, and interpret real-world test data
• Develop specifications and requirements
• Design and execute specialized tests
• Write concise test plans, technical reports, maintain comprehensive project documentation, and deliver technical briefings
• Collaborate with teams of engineers and technicians to solve complex problems
