Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of control panel design experience for industrial applications.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
• Solid grasp of electrical principles including medium/low voltage power distribution and DC power systems.
• Understanding of NEC, IEC, and UL safety standards.
• Detail-oriented with ability to troubleshoot complex design challenges and manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Design: Create robust control panel solutions meeting client specs and industry standards.
• Technical Documentation: Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings using CAD software.
• Engineering Analysis: Perform load calculations, voltage drop, and short circuit studies for safety and reliability.
• BOM & Procurement: Generate Bills of Materials and guide vendor selection.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with mechanical, project management, and clients to align goals.
• Manufacturing Support: Provide on‑site or in-plant support during assembly to match design.
• Compliance Expert: Ensure work adheres to UL 508A, UL 67, UL 891, NEC.
• Continuous Improvement: Update designs for cost-efficiency and maintainability.
