Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. in Houston, TX, is seeking an accountable Project Engineer to lead electrical design and project execution from conception to completion.

You will design electrical/control systems, select components, prototype and test, and coordinate with management and stakeholders to ensure quality and on-time delivery. The role requires ABET-accredited EE degree or 10+ years in electrical engineering, experience with AutoCAD/EPLAN, and familiarity with NEC/UL/IEC/IEEE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (ABET) required or 10+ years of proven experience in electrical engineering.
• Three+ years’ experience in electrical equipment manufacturing required.
• Three+ years’ experience in electrical engineering principles, circuits, and systems required.
• Three+ years’ experience with NEC/UL/IEC/IEEE standards required.
• Three+ years’ experience AutoCAD, EPLAN, and electrical design tools required.

Responsibilities

• Design Electrical/Control Systems: create detailed schematics, diagrams, and layouts for power distribution and control systems.
• Component Selection: select components and generate BOM for SWBD, MCC, Panelboard, VFD, ATS, and related panels.
• Prototyping and Testing: build and test prototypes to validate design concepts and performance.
• Project Planning and Coordination: collaborate with management to determine electrical requirements and integration.
