Job summary

Stillpoint AEC seeks an Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for buildings in an MEP/AEC environment, with leadership aligned to your experience level.

You will design power distribution, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm systems, perform load and short-circuit calculations, and prepare SLDs and specs while coordinating with multiple disciplines.

The opportunity offers hybrid/onsite work, meaningful project ownership, and support for PE licensure and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred; EIT candidates actively progressing toward PE licensure will be considered.
• Experience with building electrical systems and industry software (Revit/AutoCAD/ETAP etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design building electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency and standby power, fire alarm, grounding, and low-voltage systems.
• Perform electrical load calculations, voltage drop calculations, short-circuit and coordination studies, equipment sizing, and related electrical engineering analysis.
• Develop power distribution systems, single-line diagrams, panel schedules, lighting layouts, lighting controls, and electrical equipment specifications.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate electrical systems with architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and other disciplines.
