Job summary

Stillpoint AEC seeks an Electrical Engineer with current experience designing electrical systems for buildings within an MEP/AEC environment. You will lead electrical design, perform calculations, develop diagrams, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams on diverse projects.

Responsibilities include load calculations, schematic designs, and preparation of construction documents. PE licensure is preferred; hybrid/onsite work options offered to align with project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience designing electrical systems for buildings in MEP/AEC environments
• Knowledge of NEC/NFPA and energy codes
• PE licensure preferred; EIT considered if progressing towards PE
• Experience with electrical design software (Revit, AutoCAD) and analysis tools

Responsibilities

• Design building electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency and standby power, fire alarm, grounding, and low-voltage systems
• Perform electrical load calculations, voltage drop calculations, short-circuit and coordination studies
• Develop power distribution systems, single-line diagrams, panel schedules, lighting layouts, and equipment specifications
• Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, plumbing, structural, and other disciplines
• Prepare calculations, reports, plans, specifications, and construction documents
• Support projects through design phases and construction administration
