Job summary

Stillpoint AEC is seeking an Electrical Engineer with building electrical systems design experience in an MEP/AEC setting. You will lead electrical design tasks, develop drawings, and coordinate with architecture, mechanical, and other teams across project phases.

The role offers hybrid/onsite work, opportunities for PE licensure support, and involvement in technically challenging building projects with growing ownership and mentorship from senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Current building electrical systems design experience in MEP/AEC enviroment required.
• Experience with power distribution, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm, and other building electrical systems.
• PE licensure preferred; EIT candidates progressing toward PE considered.
• Experience with design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, AGi32, or Visual Lighting.

Responsibilities

• Design building electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm, grounding, and low-voltage systems.
• Perform load calculations, voltage drop, short-circuit, coordination studies, and equipment sizing.
• Develop power distribution schemes, single-line diagrams, panel schedules, lighting layouts and controls.
• Design service and distribution including transformers, switchgear, switchboards, and generators.
• Prepare calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications for construction documents.
• Coordinate electrical systems with architectural, structural, mechanical, and other disciplines.
