Job summary

Stillpoint AEC seeks an Electrical Engineer with current experience designing electrical systems for buildings within an MEP/AEC setting. Responsibilities include leading electrical design activities, performing load calculations, and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex building projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Current electrical building systems design experience in MEP/AEC environment required.
• Experience with power distribution, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm systems.
• PE licensure preferred; EIT candidates considered.

Responsibilities

• Design building electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm, grounding, and low-voltage systems.
• Perform electrical load calculations, voltage drop calculations, short-circuit studies, and equipment sizing.
• Develop power distribution systems, single-line diagrams, panel schedules, lighting layouts and controls.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, plans, specs, and construction documents.
• Coordinate electrical systems with other disciplines and support design development through construction administration.
