Job summary

Footbridge Federal is seeking a highly skilled circuit design engineer to lead full life-cycle development of aerospace avionics circuits in a collaborative, small-team setting. The role requires hands-on lab work for debugging, characterization, and qualification of new designs, with an emphasis on analog, digital, and power electronics for 28 VDC avionics.

Qualifications include active Top Secret clearance, expertise in op- toelectronic circuits, and proficiency with Mentor Graphics tools.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance required.
• Extensive experience in analog, digital, and power circuit design.
• Proficiency with Mentor Graphics (Xpedition, Dx Designer).
• Experience with optoelectronic circuits, including low-noise transimpedance amplifiers and high-power laser diode pulse drives (30W+).
• Knowledge of power distribution and conversion for 28 VDC aerospace avionics.
• Familiarity with piezoelectric actuator drive circuits and SPICE modeling.
• Strong hands-on skills with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, and signal generators.
