• Design experimental plans and evaluate prototype performance using realistic datasets and metrics such as latency, accuracy, and robustness.
• Maintain versioned releases, write reproducible experiment notebooks, and document software designs.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to transition research prototypes into operational environments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Clearance: Active Top Secret security clearance, with the willingness and eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI.
• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 10+ years of experience in software design, development, and documentation.
• AI/ML Expertise: Strong background in machine learning theory, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or adversarial AI.
• Frameworks & Tools: Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), data science libraries (NumPy, pandas, SciPy), and agentic frameworks (such as Model Context Protocol).
• Software Engineering: Strong Git workflow experience (branching, pull requests, code reviews) and environment reproducibility tools (conda, virtualenv).

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to read, evaluate, and implement methodologies from state-of-the-art AI research papers.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with web application development, APIs, and GUI development (AJAX, XML, XSLT).
• Experience with software build scripting (Make, CMake).
