Job summary

Footbridge Federal seeks a radar systems engineer to develop mathematical algorithms for radar sensor implementation and mission modes, and perform trajectory threat analysis and scenario modeling. You will conduct system-level performance analyses and support software integration to model real-time radar behavior.

The role requires strong MATLAB proficiency, a STEM degree with extensive experience, and collaboration within IPTs to present findings to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 12+ years of experience (or Master's with 10+ years, PhD with 8+ years).
• Strong proficiency in MATLAB and code prototyping.
• Solid understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle, signal processing, and radar systems.
• Experience utilizing radar Blake Charts for operational performance analysis.

• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 12+ years of experience (or Master's with 10+ years, PhD with 8+ years).
• Strong proficiency in MATLAB and code prototyping.
• Solid understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle, signal processing, and radar systems.
• Experience utilizing radar Blake Charts for operational performance analysis.
• Familiarity with engineering and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Programming experience in Python, C/C++, or Java.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with requirements derivation and decomposition.
