Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and test power electronics, including power systems, battery technology, and schematic diagrams. You will inspect installations to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards, and use AutoCAD to perform engineering tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD or other CAD software.
  • In-depth knowledge of power systems, battery technology, and schematic design (Rectifiers, Inverters, Converters, DC Power)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test power electronics, including power systems, battery technology, and schematic diagrams.
  • Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards.
  • Use computer-assisted engineering software (AutoCAD) to perform engineering tasks.
  • Support manufacturing department with product development and testing.
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements and make constructive suggestions for change.
  • Manage project team resources and delegate tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, ensuring adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
