We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team and support the design, development, testing, and improvement of electrical and electronic systems. This role will have a strong focus on circuit board design, PCB development, testing, troubleshooting, and product support.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and working with circuit boards and electronic components and will be comfortable taking products from concept and design through testing, manufacturing, and production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical circuits and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Create and review schematics, circuit designs, and engineering documentation.
- Select electrical and electronic components based on product and performance requirements.
- Support PCB layout, design reviews, and manufacturing requirements.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis on circuit boards and electronic systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and hardware-related issues.
- Develop and execute test plans and validation procedures.
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and other Engineering teams to support product development and production.
- Support prototype development, new product introductions, and product improvements.
- Analyze test results and recommend design or process improvements.
- Support failure analysis and corrective action efforts.
- Maintain accurate engineering documentation, BOMs, specifications, and test procedures.
- Ensure designs meet applicable quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Must-Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience designing and developing electrical circuits and circuit boards.
- Experience with PCB design and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience testing and validating electrical and electronic components.
- Understanding of analog and digital electronics.
- Experience working with BOMs and electrical components.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
