Qualifications

Job description

Looking to take true ownership of hardware from initial concept all the way through validation? We’re seeking an Electrical Engineer to drive complex circuit architectures, lead PCB strategy, and collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain. You’ll also serve as a technical mentor to junior engineers while working with industry-leading design tools.

What You’ll Be Doing

• System Design & Modeling: Simulate, model, and analyze control systems and complex circuits using advanced CAD platforms.
• Architecture & PCB Layout: Build detailed schematics and block diagrams while overseeing PCB layouts, prototype builds, and physical hardware validation.
• Engineering Mentorship: Guide junior engineers through design standards, troubleshooting workflows, and verification methods.
• Technical Compliance: Author design specifications, test protocols, hazard analyses, and DHF deliverables in alignment with regulatory standards.
• Hardware Troubleshooting: Root-cause complex circuit failures and optimize board-level performance on both legacy and next-generation products.

Qualifications

• Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent technical degree.
• Experience: 3+ years of professional hardware engineering experience writing specs, creating schematics, and executing circuit design.

Preferred Experience

• Designing circuit boards from scratch (custom PCB design).
• Proficiency in Altium Designer.
• Background in the Medical Device / MedTech industry (DHF design controls, risk/hazard analysis).
