LVI Associates is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in New York to lead design and coordination of electrical systems for complex building projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years of building electrical systems design experience in an MEP consulting environment.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and life safety systems.
• Experience managing projects and serving as primary point of contact for clients and project teams.
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain licensure in the near future.
• Proficiency with industry-standard electrical design and drafting software.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and coordination of electrical systems for building projects.
• Managing projects from concept through construction administration, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule objectives are met.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports.

• Preparing and reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports
• Coordinating with clients, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers
• Supporting client relationships, project pursuits, and business development efforts as needed

The Senior Electrical Engineer should have the following

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
