Job summary

Engtal is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer II (PE) to provide expert-level leadership on complex commercial projects. You will lead design, analysis, and construction phases, ensuring regulatory compliance and client satisfaction while guiding project teams toward high-quality deliverables.

This role requires a PE license, ABET-accredited engineering degree, and 10–15 years of relevant experience, with emphasis on MEP and Fire Prevention systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and technical development of engineering projects with strong regulatory compliance.
• Prepare detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Oversee integration of building systems (MEP, civil, structural, environmental) for cohesive designs.
• Provide technical oversight during construction; review submittals and conduct site visits.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff.
• Conduct quality control reviews at key milestones for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants across all project phases.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations with technical leadership.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet milestones.
• Stay current with industry advancements and incorporate innovations as applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
