Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License.
• 8+ years of consulting engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and applicable energy codes.
• Experience leading electrical building system designs from concept through construction.
• Strong communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for new construction and renovation projects.
• Design power distribution, lighting, emergency power, grounding, and low-voltage systems.
• Prepare construction documents, specifications, and engineering calculations.
• Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, process, architectural, and structural teams.
• Interface directly with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Support quality control, project planning, and technical standards development.
• Participate in construction administration and field services.
• Contribute to departmental growth, staffing, and leadership initiatives.
