Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our team in the Kansas area. You will work on major sector projects, coordinating with clients and partners to meet design specs and timelines.

The role emphasizes strong communication, collaboration, and adherence to NEC/IBC/LEED standards, with opportunities to advance toward PE licensure and specialty software expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience designing electrical systems for commercial construction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in Project Management, especially handling multiple projects.
• Familiarity with NEC, IBC, LEED and other building codes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects and manage multiple timelines where needed.
• Engage in client meetings to discuss progress and requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet design specs.
• Coordinate with utility companies for service needs and code research.
• Manage office resources to keep projects on time/budget.
• Conduct quality control and peer reviews to maintain design quality.

• 5+ years of experience in designing electrical systems for commercial construction

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit drafting
• Specific expertise in electrical design for healthcare facilities
• PE license is desirable and will be required eventually
• Familiarity with MasterSpec CSI format, SKM, and AGI software
• Passed the FE Exam and possess LEED AP BD+C certification
