Job summary

Intellectt Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with hands-on PCBA and high‑voltage expertise to drive design, validation, and manufacturing support in an industrial electrical environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop BOMs, drawings, schematics, and test plans, perform simulations, troubleshoot analog and digital circuits, and lead continuous improvement using Lean and DFSS.

  • Collaborate with suppliers and Supplier Quality to evaluate capabilities and approvals.
  • Investigate quality and reliability issues, perform root cause analysis, and support corrective actions.
  • Coordinate verification, validation, and qualification testing with internal/external labs.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in PCBA design, electrical circuit design, high-voltage systems, power system analysis, and analog/digital troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience supporting product development, manufacturing, testing, and continuous improvement within an industrial electrical or power systems environment.

The engineer will work closely with cross‑functional teams to develop and maintain electrical product designs, support new product introductions, resolve manufacturing and quality issues, and drive improvements throughout the product lifecycle.

Mandatory Qualifications
  • Minimum 4+ years of electrical design experience, including PCBA design and electrical circuit design.
  • Experience performing engineering analysis and digital simulation, including CAD, FEA, statistical analysis, electrical analysis tools, and related engineering software.
  • Hands‑on experience with high‑voltage design and power system analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of product design, DFM (Design for Manufacturing), DFA (Design for Assembly), and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong computer and data analysis skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis and structured problem‑solving techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot analog and digital circuits at the component level.
  • Experience providing project leadership and coordinating technical activities.
  • Knowledge or training in Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt methodologies is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain electrical product designs, BOMs, drawings, schematics, and technical specifications for control systems and protective relay applications.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and engineering changes for existing products.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production, manufacturing, testing, and design‑related issues in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
  • Work with suppliers and Supplier Quality teams to evaluate supplier capabilities, conduct assessments, and support component approval.
  • Investigate product quality and reliability issues, perform root cause analysis, document findings, and support corrective actions.
  • Support customer‑related technical investigations and communications when required.
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), DFM, and DFA methodologies.
  • Perform engineering analyses and simulations using CAD, FEA, electrical analysis tools, and other engineering software.
  • Coordinate product verification, validation, reliability, and qualification testing with internal and external laboratories.
  • Ensure electrical product designs comply with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and overall quality.
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, supplier, and other engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant electrical design experience.
  • Experience working with electrical products, power systems, industrial controls, or related manufacturing environments is preferred.
