Overview: Our client is an established consulting engineering firm that is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their growing team within the Boston Market!
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Design the electrical systems, power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, emergency power, UPS, and renewable energy systems
Attend meetings with owners, clients, or architects as needed
Review contractor submittals (shop drawings, etc.) to determine conformance with contract documents
Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks
Research and analyze customer design proposalsspecification, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications
Identify and resolve issues/conflicts as they arise
Maintain and develop customer relationships
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
2+ years of experience in consulting engineering
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
Experience in MEP Design
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong leadership and communication skills
AutoCAD and REVIT software experience
