Overview:
Our client is an established consulting engineering firm that is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their growing team within the Boston Market!

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design the electrical systems, power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, emergency power, UPS, and renewable energy systems
• Attend meetings with owners, clients, or architects as needed
• Review contractor submittals (shop drawings, etc.) to determine conformance with contract documents
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks
• Research and analyze customer design proposalsspecification, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications
• Identify and resolve issues/conflicts as they arise
• Maintain and develop customer relationships

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in consulting engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• Experience in MEP Design
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• AutoCAD and REVIT software experience
