Innova Solutions is hiring for an Electromechanical assembler for a client in Farmington, NM. This is a full-time, 12-month contract position on the 2nd shift, offering a competitive hourly pay range.

You will read work instructions, use hand and power tools, perform quality checks, and participate in lean manufacturing initiatives. You should have a high school diploma or equivalent and basic reading comprehension, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Job description

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Electromechanical assembler. Position type: Full-time, Contract. Duration: 12 months. Location: Farmington NM. Shift: 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and interpret work instructions (written and verbal) to complete manufacturing and production tasks according to established guidelines, procedures, and quality standards.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools following approved methods and procedures to complete assembly and production activities.
• Apply problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques while working collaboratively to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform quality checks throughout the production process to ensure products meet established standards.
• Identify product defects and complete required documentation when defects are found.
• Rework and/or repair products in accordance with engineering specification changes.
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to cross-train in other departments and perform additional production-related duties as business needs require.
• Actively participate in lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying opportunities and providing recommendations for process improvements.
• Observe all safety requirements and maintain a Foreign Object Damage (FOD) free work environment.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and used in accordance with established calibration schedules.

Ideal Candidate

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic reading comprehension skills with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete required documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and online communication systems.

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range*: $17.00/hr to $20.00/hr • Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
