Job summary

Cleary Zimmermann Engineers in Plano, TX is seeking an Electrical EIT to support electrical design on projects. You will collaborate with senior electrical staff during design and documentation, and coordinate with other disciplines for a fully coordinated internal and client-facing design.

Responsibilities include preparing design documents, performing design tasks, managing time to meet deadlines, and coordinating manpower with the electrical engineer of record.

Qualifications

• Graduate engineer with EIT registration or working on taking the EIT test.
• Knowledge of CAD and Revit is desired; documentation of design will be required.
• Ability to work with electrical staff and cross-discipline teams to achieve complete design.
• Effective communication with colleagues and clients across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design documents appropriate for the project and in accordance with company standards.
• Perform design functions as directed by senior electrical staff.
• Manage time and tasks to complete the design and meet project deadlines.
• Coordinate manpower needs weekly with the Electrical engineer of record.
• Review the electrical budget hours and coordinate any recommended adjustments with the electrical engineer of record.
