Job summary

Confidential Recruiting Partners is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer (EIT) to support electrical building systems design for various project types. You will gain hands-on experience in calculations, documentation, field investigations, and multidisciplinary coordination while working towards PE licensure.

The role offers a hybrid work model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) and opportunities to collaborate with licensed engineers on construction documents and project delivery.

Qualifications

• EIT certification or ability to obtain EIT status within six months of hire.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Understanding of electrical fundamentals and building systems design principles.
• Familiarity with NEC and electrical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical plans, panel schedules, specifications, and construction documents.
• Assist with design of power distribution, lighting, grounding, and fire alarm systems.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs during construction.
• Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural teams.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and related software to produce project documentation.
• Support field investigations, site visits, and project delivery activities.
