Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a private Civil Engineering firm in Chicago. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to work on multiple projects and deliver innovative electrical solutions.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, at least 5 years of experience, and proficiency with MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Revit. PE certification is a plus, and transportation industry experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement electrical systems for various projects, ensuring their efficiency and safety.
• Utilize software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Revit to design and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful completion of projects.
• Conduct detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.
• Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications, and safety standards.
• Use computer-assisted engineering software (CADD) to perform engineering tasks.
• Support manufacturing department with product development and testing.
• Provide quality assurance for ongoing projects.
• Keep current with the latest technical innovations in electrical engineering.

We are a private Civil Engineering firm looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our growing team! This Jobot Job is hosted by: Ryan Rubino.

Salary: $120,000 - $170,000 per year.

This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to be part of our growing organization. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, providing innovative solutions to complex engineering problems. We are looking for a professional who is adept at working in a team and can handle multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Transportation, CADD solutions, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Revit.

Responsibilities
