Job summary

Jobot in Wisconsin is seeking an Electrical Drafter for direct hire. You will create and revise electrical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, develop layouts, cable routing, and construction documents, and support BIM coordination with Navisworks.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in a relevant technical field.
• Experience with AutoCAD is required.
• Experience with Revit, Navisworks or BIM software preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and documents.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise electrical design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Develop electrical equipment layouts, cable tray routing and conduit drawings.
• Produce one-line diagrams, schematics, lighting layouts and construction documents.
• Assist with 3D modeling and BIM coordination using Revit and Navisworks.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, controls engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support projects serving industrial manufacturing and process facilities.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, client requirements and project specs.
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate revisions as needed.
