• Design and specify electrical conduits, wiring, and components per NEC.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to integrate electrical systems into building design.
• Review and revise designs to ensure accuracy and compliance with requirements and standards.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure proper installation and operation of electrical systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during construction and post-occupancy phases.
• Keep knowledge current on new technologies and industry trends for cutting-edge, sustainable designs.

Responsibilities

• 8. Continually updating knowledge of new technologies and industry trends to ensure our designs are cutting-edge and sustainable.

Qualifications

• 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design and drafting, specifically in the construction industry.
• 2. Proficiency in using CAD software for electrical design and drafting.
• 3. In-depth knowledge of NEC Code and other relevant industry standards and regulations.
• 4. Experience with designing electrical systems for high performance buildings.
• 5. Familiarity with plumbing and mechanical systems, as they relate to electrical design.
• 6. Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to perform complex electrical calculations.
• 7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
• 8. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues before they arise.
• 9. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
