Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited program is required.
• PE license is preferred and beneficial for the role.
• Advanced degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program is advantageous.
• Fundamentals of Engineering exam completion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work safely in accordance with the Company's Accident Prevention Handbook.
• Assess and improve distribution system reliability performance.
• Develop and maintain strategic plans to hit reliability targets and modernization goals.
• Develop and oversee long-term infrastructure improvement plans (LTIIP).
• Support OH Operations through data analysis on outages, circuit lockouts, DEMI, CEMI, and WPC.
• Prepare and present reliability performance and regulatory reports.
• Prepare budgets and schedules for distribution reliability projects.
• Support customer inquiries and power quality studies as needed.
• Monitor inoperable equipment logs for remediation needs.
• Maintain familiarity with state regulatory requirements for distribution inspection and maintenance.
• Provide technical information to support the Distribution Control Center for safe operation.
• Support storm process as hazard dispatcher/responder, storm analyst or line shop analyst.
• May handle special projects as business needs require.
